After two years of almost total pandemic lockdown, and to coincide with our 12th birthday, Melbourne Free University is ready to reboot with a new series of talks for 2022 and beyond. In our first fully-vaxxed post-lockdown session we’re going to revisit what MFU is and why it exists. And we’re also seeking your input into what MFU can and should be doing. MFU convenors will argue that now more than ever, we need a free, open, and in-person platform for learning, discussion, and debate. But do you agree? We want you to come along and let us know what you think. Tell us your ideas about how you’d like MFU to run.

What topics should we cover? What formats could we use? What kind of community are we, and what could we be?

Please join us at the Alderman on the 28th April from 6:30 to 8pm, and bring your appetite for learning and discussion. As always, there’s no need to RSVP, the MFU is free and open to all - kids are always welcome.
