The most heavily militarized states in the world are willfully violating international law - selling weapons to enable the commission of genocide, waging wars against civilians, expanding military alliances, and modernizing their nuclear forces. At the same time, they are preventing the development of new international law on new weapons technologies, including killer robots. As they try to shred or prevent constraints on their capacity for violence, many states are also cracking down on protest and civil disobedience. But in the face of increasing dystopia, people around the world are organizing and acting to protect human rights and dignity. Join this discussion to learn what others are doing and share opportunities for engagement with others.
