In the lead up to the election, the MFU is going to look at Australian politics from less obvious angles. The last few decades haven’t been kind to those on the progressive left. Is there any respite on the horizon?  **Our three speakers will approach this from the perspective of their own activism: ** \>>Liz will explore spectacular dissent in the theatre of democracy; \>>Dave will argue that we’ve shaped the tools we need for economic and environmental democracy, we just need to start using them; \>> Alison will discuss faith, hope and charity, and why the most powerful of these is hope.
